Frequently asked questions:
Q. What ages will the school cater for?
A. Bedfordshire operates the lower, middle and secondary school model. The school will take children between three and nine. Children can start in the Nursery in the term after they are three years old.
Q. When will the school open?
A. The school is on track to open in September 2007 for Nursery, Reception and Years 1 and 2. Years 3 and 4 will start in September 2008.
Q. What is the admissions process?
A. All Admissions for the school are being handled by the council. Admissions for September 2007 opened in September 2006 and the Nursery opened in January 2007.
Q. What will class sizes be?
A. Classes will be up to 26 children per session in the Nursery and 30 in the school. There will be a one-class entry for each year. Q. Will there be sufficient places for all children on the estate?
A. The Council estimates that the school will be large enough for all children who wish to go there.
